Why export your TikTok stats?

The TikTok app shows your numbers video by video, but it doesn't make it easy to compare your last 20 or 50 posts. Exporting your data as a CSV gives you the big picture: all your videos and all their metrics in one file you can sort, filter and cross-check.

It's also the only way to have your performance analyzed by an outside tool. Influlab IA reads this CSV file and automatically finds your performance patterns, without you combing through each video by hand in the app.

How do you export your TikTok Analytics data?

The export is done from TikTok Studio, TikTok's creator space (available in the app or at tiktokstudio.com). Access to Analytics depends on your account type: if you don't see them, check that your account is set to Creator or Business in the settings.

1

Open TikTok Studio

In the app: Profile → ☰ menu at the top right → TikTok Studio. On a computer, you can also go through tiktokstudio.com.

2

Go to the Analytics tab

From TikTok Studio, open the "Analytics" section. There you'll find your Overview, Content, Audience and Followers data.

3

Pick your period

Select the date range to export. TikTok usually limits viewable history to a rolling 60 days on personal accounts.

4

Download the data

Find the download button or icon (usually at the top of the analytics page) and choose the CSV format. The file is saved straight to your device.

The interface changes regularly

TikTok regularly rearranges TikTok Studio. If a label or location differs from what's described here, look for a "Download" or "Export" button or a down-arrow icon near the date picker: it's almost always there.

Which file should you use in Influlab IA?

Once the download finishes, you get a .csv file (sometimes an .xlsx depending on the section exported: in that case, open it and use "Save as → CSV"). You drop this file, as is, into Influlab IA's import area: no editing or formatting needed.

Influlab IA accepts CSV files up to 2 MB and 5,000 rows. A standard TikTok export stays well within these limits.

Which stats can be analyzed?

Influlab IA automatically detects the numeric columns in your file and lets you choose which ones to analyze. Depending on the section exported from TikTok Analytics, your CSV may contain:

Views Likes Comments Shares Watch time New followers

Influlab IA calculates the averages, minimums and maximums of each available metric and uses them to generate your diagnosis: no need to prepare or rename columns yourself.

Common problems

Wrong file exported
If you exported the "Followers" section instead of "Content", you won't have per-video metrics. Export again, selecting the right section in TikTok Analytics.
Incompatible format
Influlab IA only accepts .csv. If TikTok gave you an .xlsx, open it in Excel or Google Sheets, then export it as .csv.
Incomplete export
If the period you selected is too long, TikTok may limit the data returned. Shorten the date range and try again if the file looks cut off.
Not enough data
An account with very few recent videos will have a limited export. The more content you have over the chosen period, the more relevant the analysis.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a paid account to export my TikTok data?

No. Exporting your stats through TikTok Studio is a free, built-in feature available to accounts with access to Analytics.

How far back can I export my data?

TikTok usually limits viewable history in Analytics to a rolling 60 days for a personal account. To track for longer, export regularly and keep your files.

Does Influlab IA store my TikTok CSV file?

No, no raw data is stored: only the generated analysis report is kept.

Can I import a TikTok Ads export?

This guide covers organic TikTok Analytics stats. A TikTok Ads Manager export has a different structure and isn't covered here.

In short

Exporting your TikTok data takes four steps: open TikTok Studio, go to Analytics, pick your period, then download as CSV. The file imports directly into Influlab IA, with nothing else to do.

Once you have your diagnosis, repeat the export regularly to track your progress over time.
